Shipping FAQ
We want to ensure that your shipping experience is as exceptional as the wine itself.
Wine is perishable and is sensitive to extreme temperatures, whether hot or cold, that can dramatically affect the wine's quality. Alexana only ships out once we confirm via email that we have checked temperatures en route and at the final destination, and we are comfortable with the safety of the wines. If a specific timeframe is safer for your wines, we will be in contact with you about that after an order has been placed.
Otherwise once notified, we will release your wines to ship at the next available opportunity, unless you have cited a specific ship date. Orders may take 1-2 weeks to process before shipping.
An adult signature with valid identification is required to deliver all wine. It is highly recommended that you provide us with a business shipping address for best service and delivery on the first attempt. If after your order was placed you had an address change, or an adult signature with valid ID will be unavailable at the shipping address, please contact our shipping department ASAP to update your information. If delivery is unsuccessful and wines are returned, reshipments will incur shipping costs.

We fully guarantee the quality of our wines when shipped and handled in the manner that our team explicitly recommends. If you suspect the bottle is off, put the cork back in the bottle and leave the wine intact as we cannot take back empty bottles, then contact the winery at 503-537-3100.
Please note: Some returns can be charged up to a 25% restocking fee and carrier fees.
How do I return a product? To start the return process, please get in touch with us directly at 503-537-3100 for specific instructions.
All shipping issues must be acknowledged within 30 days of the original ship date for attempted resolution.
Revana Family Vineyards is not responsible for shipping delays outside of our control.
We do have fulfillment warehouses in Ohio and California that allow us to ship efficiently at the lowest possible shipping rates via ground-level services from whichever warehouse is located closest to your order's final destination when weather and inventory availability allows.
The map at the top of this page lists the transit times from the closest fulfillment warehouse and estimates via FedEx or UPS ground services with no guarantee. For example, some of our more limited production wines will need to ship from Oregon, with an estimated 5-day delivery window to the East Coast if shipped ground.
Depending on weather and availability, your order may need to be upgraded from ground to an expedited service level to ship promptly. In these instances, we are happy to deduct the cost of ground from the expedited service cost on the purchase of 6 bottles or more.
Once shipped, a tracking number will be provided to you via carrier email (UPS/FedEx) and text message (if you have opted-in) and is under the direct control of that shipping carrier at that point. Unfortunately, as much as we wish we could, we cannot guarantee the day or time of day at which the delivery occurs, or contact the driver. If ever you cannot locate your tracking number to find your estimated delivery information, please contact us at the address above and we will happily provide it for you.
We always strive to protect the quality of your wine while in transit. That is why our shipping team is continually monitoring the weather state by state. If we deem that your area's weather could potentially compromise your wine, we will notify you via email with options for you to choose from. We may also add complimentary cool packs to protect your wine at our discretion.
For Alexana to be able to ship to you legally, most states require that we charge sales tax on the sale of wine and the shipping costs. Sales tax percentages are determined at the state, county, or local level, and all taxes collected are remitted directly to that state.
Alexana can only sell wine to purchasers of legal age at 21 years or older and age verification is required at the time of purchase. An adult who is 21 years or older will need to sign for the order when the driver arrives to deliver the shipment. Our shipping team will reach out via email to confirm that an adult 21 or older can sign for the wine upon arrival.
