2017 Revana Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Under the guidance of an all-star duo, Winemaker, Thomas Rivers Brown, and Vineyard Manager, Jim Barbour, our farming practices remain focused on elevating the quality of the Revana Vineyard. In 2017, only the four highest quality vineyard blocks were selected from the eight in our Estate Vineyard to craft a wine with a true sense of place as a representation of vineyard and vintage. 

Thomas crafts a beautifully textured and authentically powerful Napa Cabernet with whole-berry micro-fermentations and elegant integration of French Oak.

The 2017 vintage began as one of the wettest winters on record, replenishing California’s Reservoirs and rejuvenating vineyard soils after a three-year drought. Warmer summer weather brought favorable, dry conditions resulting in excellent fruit set and an exceptional crop. Warm temperatures during the later summer months brought early ripening and a quick harvest, resulting in a Cabernet of extraordinary concentration and richness.
