2018 Revana Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
St. Helena - Napa Valley
This powerful and brooding Cabernet promises even more to those who can wait.
The mild spring of the 2018 growing season allowed for a long and abundant cluster development, with cluster weight ultimately being 20 to 30 percent heavier than average. The summer months brought moderately warm weather with no heat spikes leading to long, slow, and steady ripening culminating with harvest late in the season, allowing our vineyard team plenty of time to pick at optimum ripeness.
Tasting Notes:
Powerful aromatics with notes of cherry compote, violet, leather, blackberry, cedar, and earth.
Fresh and powerful flavors on the palate that are bright with fullness and depth. Black and blue fruits are accented with notes of lilac, and brown sugar.
